FAQs
Can I keep the ‘negatives’?
Yes. Each collection includes all the high-resolution digital negatives. Many photographers flat out refuse to sell the negatives. I think this is unfortunate as this is your special event and your preferences should be honored.
Will you be the one shooting the wedding?
Yes. I do not hire someone else to do the work that you contracted me to do. Occasionally, a second photographer may join me and serve as an assistant or provide secondary photographic coverage. But all primary coverage is done by me; no exceptions.
How many pictures do you shoot at a wedding?
This depends on a number of factors but to give you an idea, I shoot between 500 - 800 images over a 5 hour period. If I have an assistant or another photographer with me, then it will be more.
What type of equipment do you use?
I use professional digital equipment for cameras, lenses, and lighting which provide outstanding image quality.
That said, professional equipment alone does not make one a great photographer. It’s like telling an acclaimed writer, “You are a tremendous author; you must have an incredible pen!” Great photography also requires ability, creativity, and passion. Nevertheless, top-notch equipment, when coupled with skill and talent, makes for some absolutely incredible photography.
Can guests order reprints directly from you?
Yes. At your wedding, I give your guests a card that will help them access your personal website (that I create) which will have your images available for display and/or purchase. This allows guests to access the site and order pictures themselves via the internet. This makes it easier for you as you no longer have to try to get people certain images they wanted.
Will you travel to shoot a wedding event?
This depends on the date of the wedding and the distance. For any traveling I do, there will be added transportation expenses. Please contact me directly for more information.
Do you offer any discounts or specials?
Yes. Please visit here for more info on discounts.
