I grew up in a wonderful home and had a loving, caring family and always had respect for religion. But in my first year of college, I started to realize that something was missing in my life. What the world had to offer would never satisfy me and I felt a hole in my heart. Soon, I began to search for some type of meaning in my life and asked myself: why I am I here? what is my purpose? what will happen when I die?
I started reading the Bible and came to an understanding of what Christianity truly is: not a religion, but a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. All my life I thought that religion would get me to heaven. But the Bible teaches that works will never get us to Heaven. For the first time in my life, I read the passage, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). It was there, in Boston, MA where I asked Christ into my heart and all my sins were washed away. The peace of God entered my life and I was a new person. God has done such wonderful things in my life and continues to do so. Thanks so much for taking the time to visit.
