H-A-double L-O-double U-double E-N…

spells “Halloween.”

Aiden is back in Boston and this past Thursday had his hardware (tubes) replaced, a partial colonoscopy and an endoscopy. The physicians could not determine what caused the internal bleeding. In their words, “Aiden is a mystery…unfortunately, there are some things that we just do not know.” The Boston staff has been phenomenal and is very willing, considerate and goes out of their way to help us. Overall he is doing better and hopefully the internal bleeding will stop. The tests they have done so far show that there are no (identifiable) issues. He has a couple more scheduled next week so we will wait and see.

On another note, the twins are doing well with Daddy. Of course, they know that 2 against 1 is even better odds than 3 against 2 and they take advantage of this from time to time. Fortunately, Amisha is here to even up the odds.

Tonight, Amisha and I took the twins trick-or-treating in their little skeleton costumes. They enjoyed it and also liked giving candy to the kids who stopped by. The costumes glowed in the dark (as you can see in the images below).

Evan is ready to run around!

There they go!

In the meantime, Aiden is content in his high chair

Ethan, you are always looking up

Does your head hurt?

Boo Boo and his little owl

Mama Bear and Boo Bear

A little bear is sleeping on my couch…now I know how Goldilocks felt

Ethan, on the other hand, is a little monkey who never stops climbing

Aiden is an alley cat…who makes funny sounds and sticks his tongue out a lot

Edith and her favorite triplets!

Ethan! Don’t color the carpet!

Things…they are going to outgrow those shirts soon

Aiden loves hugging them…but they never seem willing to receive his love

Aiden likes playing with his little puzzle pieces

Aiden is dancing in this image…but seemed surprised when I went to take a picture

Ethan, so cute!

And silly

Hairball

Who is this kid? Is that…Aiden? Where is all the hair gone? That barber must have been blindfolded and cut off his locks…

Hurry back from Boston! We miss our little baby!

Skullions!

Jenifer & Bryan’s Wedding

Jenifer and Bryan’s wedding and reception took place in Dallas, TX at the home of Bryan’s parents. The natural lighting in the backyard was fantastic and made for some great images. Additionally, it was a pleasure to work with Jenifer and Bryan…they are a wonderful couple and truly in love!

Some highlights from the day…

Tricia & Darrell’s Wedding

Despite inclement weather, Tricia and Darrell’s wedding was wonderful! The couple looked fantastic thanks to makeup artist Meagan Sparks, and Chelsey Dane and her team from Bride Associates did a phenomenal job coordinating the event!

Both the ceremony and reception took place at the Four Seasons Resort in Las Colinas. Cameron Fox of The DJ Company was very impressive and a pleasure to work with! Romano’s Bakery created an exquisite (and very tasty) cake, with catering provided by the Four Seasons.

Some favorites that we captured from their day…

Ills, Chills and No Frills

Everyone is sick! It appeared to be a sinus infection although given that we all have it, it very likely could be something else…perhaps the common cold? Runny noses, sore backs, coughing while sleeping and sore throats seem to define how we feel. Hopefully this will pass soon and will be back to…normal.

It makes you wonder what is ‘normal.’ It used to be go to work during the week and relax on the weekends. Those were the good ‘ole days. These days, there is minimal time for rest as we are chasing the boys everywhere. Of course, one day we will look back and say “the good ‘ole days.” It’s like our Pastor says, “we always talk about the good ‘ole days but what we fail to realize is that we are in the good ‘ole days.” So, we will enjoy them (although it is hard to enjoy when sick).

Aiden will most likely need to go back to Boston within the next few weeks. There is definitely something wrong with the tube and there may be some other issues. Unfortunately, Dallas has no solutions but Boston would like to do some specific tests and get to the root of the issue. Please keep us in your prayers!

We took the boys to the Dallas Arboretum Botanical Gardens a couple weeks ago and they had a blast! It was the first time they ever saw pumpkins. They were very intrigued and really had a great time with so much room to run around. Enjoy some of the images below.

Here comes Ethan!

There goes Evan

All this room to run

Aiden is trying to catch up to his brothers

Ethan has never seen pumpkins before

Aiden loves walking all over the place

The Arboretum did a great job decorating the place

Trying to get these two to sit still is near impossible

Trying to get all three to pose is impossible

My little pumpkin is carrying a pumpkin

Aiden thought the pumpkins were giant apples and kept saying “all done apples” because he did not like sitting on them

But the ‘apples’ were very accomodating and he eventually did not mind

Evan loved being here

Well, we got one to look, one to almost look with only one totally distracted

Classic Ethan

Happy Boo

He didn’t want to share seats with the pumpkin so he tossed it

Another attempt at a picture

Boys, you are too young do drive!

Aiden, two at one time?

Up and down

Evan loves being the Boss

He is only quiet when he is eating or drinking

Aiden loves his TV (a little too much)

Ethan is ready to go to sleep

Aiden is still enamored by the fact that he has hands
